About

Marie Kuranishi began her career as a recording engineer in Seattle. After a year of studio work, she decided it was time to be on the other side of the glass and moved to Los Angeles. There, Marie performed original and cover songs and recorded two CDs.

After meeting Don Cornelius, who told her she had "an amazing voice" and needed to do something with it, Marie launched her voice-over career.

Marie took an eight-year break to raise her son. After he became interested in acting, Marie was cast back into the limelight when directors needed her to play his mother in various projects. That was the beginning of stage and on-camera work and the rekindling of voice-over work for her. Marie is currently working on her first book.
